A perfume seller's daughter got married to a leather merchant. Skin odor is an unbearable pain for others. Because of this, the first new wife had a lot of trouble. Then gradually this situation got better. Then he doesn't smell so bad.
One day she was talking to people. At one point of the speech, she said, earlier there was a lot of stench in this house. But now it is not. The stench is all gone.
The fact is, the stench did not go away. Rather, she has become accustomed to this stench. That's what she assumed the stench was gone. Such is our situation. Today we are so used to doing various unwanted activities that we have lost the feeling that it is inappropriate to do it.
If we do it it will be easy to survive
We have to correct ourselves from this story. We should develop the habit of stopping from even the slightest undesirable act as a great wrongdoing. Then even small wrongs will seem like big crimes and it will be easy to survive.
